Handmade Wooden iPad Docking Station

When we saw this baby on Etsy, we knew we had to post it and grab it up, so you’d better beware that we might get to it first!

Check out this simply amazing and eco-friendly handmade Wooden Docking Station for not only your new iPad but also your iPhone or iPod, though it appears that the shuffle can sadly not be charged with this station.

This luxurious docking station, despite its rustic charm, just uses a standard USB plug so you can sync with the computer with ease. Cost, $188 from Etsy seller, WoodTec

PUMA Suede Made in Japan

Some really spectacular photos I found. I think these really capture the essence of the fine art of shoe crafting and how many people work so hard to make some of the simplest of luxury's that we take for granted everyday.
The shoot captures the very first time that Puma’s iconic “Suede” model has been made in Japan. Reportedly lighter on the foot and made with higher quality materials, the made in Japan Suede will be available in a handful of block colorways. Detailed with an individual serial number on the tongue, the new versions provide a welcomed update to an already established classic.

Kardshians Kill Their Kard Har Har

The Kardashian sisters have abandoned their barely month-old prepaid debit card, the “Kardashian Kard,” after the Connecticut attorney general announced he was investigating the Kard for violating consumer protection laws with “predatory” fees, according to Gossip Cop:

The notice of termination letter says that the Kardashians “have worked extremely long and hard to create a positive public persona,” and are recognized as “honest, ethical, and fun-loving individuals who are kind and caring to others.
Because the card “might violate” certain laws, rules and regulations, notes the letter, Dash Dolls “terminates the agreement in its entirety, effective immediately.”

The Star House by AGi Architects

Photographer Nelson Garrido has sent us photos of the Star House in Bnaider, Kuwait, that has been designed by AGi Architects.

You can also watch a video about the house – here.

"Nestled into the landscape, this beach house blends with the natural topography of the coastline of Kuwait. It slowly unfolds itself to the visitor, as it is approached from the desert.

Upon entry, one gets glimpses of the sea whilst going down to the public space of the chalet. On this lower level, the house extends into the landscape and the sea, accentuated by an infinity pool in the garden. The private side of the house, located at the entry level, is concealed from the visitors by a bamboo wall. Bedrooms and private living spaces remain isolated from daily activities. A three-way stair, placed at the center of building, organizes the different flows of family, friends and guests.

The organizational and formal structure of the beach house is dictated by the ability to maximize views to the sea.

The initial design was master planned for three detached dwellings, each with extensive sea views while simultaneously achieving privacy from one another. The client, instead, opted for a single house, two bungalows and a boathouse, with possible plans for expansion in the future."

Go-Go Nascar Garbage Eater

I love robotic technology & I hate to vacuum, so this NASCAR Track Vac Robotic Vacuum fits my bill just fine. This toy-like vacuum makes vacuuming fun again, although maybe it was never truly all that fun.

This NASCAR Track Vac Robotic Vacuum cleans up your home using five pre-programmed patterns, but can also be steered as you desire with a handy dandy remote control. I have an idea ladies, convince your husband to do chores around the house again with this “toy”. See where I’m going with that? I think it might actually work. At just $280, this robotic vacuum is going right to the top of my list. What about you?

Richard Gere Is Relais & Châteaux’s New Star

Richard Gere, the esteemed actor and passionate innkeeper of the Bedford Post, has been named the 2011 Ambassador of Relais & Châteaux.

The charming eight-bedroom Bedford Post, located about an hour north of New York City, owned by Gere, his wife Carey Lowell and their business partner Russell Hernandez, is a new addition to the Relais & Châteaux family.

He succeeds the author Douglas Kennedy in 2009, and the wine grower and actress Carole Bouquet in 2010.

Mr. Gere undertook the restoration project of the Bedford Post as an act of preservation in order to provide a gathering place for his local community.

The actor embraced the idea and transformed this abandoned property into a club house gathered around fine food and wine and a serene art de vivre.

In his introduction to the emblematic 2011 Guide, Richard Gere notes: “In my long career, I’ve played many challenging and demanding characters, but believe me none more so than my real life role as Innkeeper”.

Fairy Tale Living in Milan Hotel

Italy has always been embraced for its multicultural happenings, but what Milan is most known for is fashion and design. This hotel belonging to the styles of renowned Moschino, is probably unlike anything you’ve seen. Looking more like a a fun house of fairy tales, this 4 story dream station, Maison Moschino is more than just a luxury hotel and more like a surreal alternate reality. Each room has a theme that indulges the senses by saturating your sight with sensual and illusory dream like images- and the best part is they are all so different and bizarre! So unless you’re a regular, you never know kind of experience you’ll get! From the glowing lamps shaped in the form of a famous Moschino dress, to the cupcake pillows, this hotel leaves nothing to the imagination but paints a vivid one for you.

We just wonder how much a night of vivid dreams like this would cost…
